The Leadership in Pharmacy Practice Award recognizes significant contribution to pharmacy practice through leadership in such areas as clinical practice (excellence in the provision of patient-focused care), academia, advocacy, or pharmacy management and administration.
The Alfred G. Dawe Award of Excellence is bestowed on a member who has shown significant and extensive contribution to the activities of our Branch.
The New Practitioner Award is intended to recognize the early contributions of our junior members (will have graduated with their first pharmacy degree within the past 5 years). This award will be given to a member of CSHP NL Branch who, through their service to patient care, to education or research, to the profession and to the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists, is deemed worthy of recognition.
The CSHP NL Branch Mentorship Award will be awarded in recognition of the value and importance of mentoring in pharmacy practice, to a member who is a positive influence on students, residents and peers. Because we want to capture a broad range of mentoring experiences, the criteria for who can nominate someone for this award is broader – see details in the attachment.
Our members, either through the course of their daily contributions to pharmacy practice and patient care or by volunteering their time to support our branch, do phenomenal work. It is time that these individuals be recognized for their efforts. Please consider nominating a deserving colleague today!
