CSHP National is recruiting members with diverse backgrounds to the CSHP Education and Development (E&D) Committee. Members of this committee with serve a 2 or 3-year term where they will make recommendations to the Board that focus on educational advancement of the individual pharmacist and pharmacy technician practicing in hospitals and other collaborative settings.
Educational development would involve both clinical and leadership skills for practitioners at all experience levels and skill sets and across various geographical regions. Members we are looking for include:
· Who: pharmacy technician, pharmacy intern or resident, pharmacist with entry/mid/experienced level practice
· Practice settings: community hospitals, long-term care, clinics/family health teams, academia (teaching and/or research)
· Practice locations: rural/remote
· Skills: drug utilization/drug resource, management, leadership, advocacy
· Geographical distribution: We have had sufficient interest from BC and are looking more broadly from the rest of Canada
